Our Story

Founded in 2009 by the brothers Paul and Michael Mladenka, Cou-Yon's is a Baton-Rouge based BBQ business with a brick and mortar location in Port Allen, a permanent food trailer on the LSU campus, and a full service professional catering business.

We believe that food is meant to bring people together, create community, and invite conversation. This is exactly what you get at Cou-Yon’s—a mouth-waterin’ meal in a casual, homey environment. While the Mladenka brothers laugh easily and often, they’re serious about the food that comes out of Cou-Yon’s kitchen.

Every single dish on the menu is chock-full of the freshest ingredients, carefully and perfectly prepared, and served in generous portions. At Cou-Yon’s, you can enjoy a melt-in-your-mouth meal from Cajun-meets-South-Texas BBQ to fresh-caught seafood to larger-than-life stuffed baked potatoes. Plus our side dishes aren’t just an afterthought—they’re the perfect complement to our main dishes (and some folks even make a meal outta ‘em!). All of our food is down-right delicious!
